Engineer and educator by training and by practice, with deep roots in electrical, computer, and software engineering. My work focuses on building secure, reliable systems and shaping the professional, ethical, and governance frameworks that support them.

I bring doctoral and graduate training alongside professional engineering, cybersecurity, project management, and information systems credentials. I’ve worked across energy, government, health, manufacturing, finance, transportation, and ICT, contributing as both a practicing engineer and a strategic advisor.

Alongside industry work, I’ve been deeply engaged in professional service, mentorship, and standards—supporting education, ethics, safety, and leadership across engineering and technology communities. I care about how technology is designed, governed, and taught, and about aligning technical excellence with public trust.

Policy Analyst | Digital Governance and Emerging Technologies

Engineer and policy analyst by training and by practice. Deep love for technology and the rules that shape it. Currently, a PhD candidate focused on designing/engineering the next generation of social media and figuring out how humans should connect in a world that keeps shifting. I am catching up on Indigenous studies, anthropology, sociology, art, psychology, education, biology, Arctic and subarctic and geopolitics. I want a full picture of how people think, create, and belong.

I have worked across government, including Indigenous communities across Canada, academia, and industry (climate change and water policy, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, regulation and legislation, education, infrastructure, investment, policy analysis, digital governance and public sector innovation).
